If you want to adjust the audio gain in Premiere, but do not advance from the peak amplitude: under calculation … forever, click the cross mark (not the cancel button) once in the upper right.
The progress screen comes out like this. I just wait in this state. I waited for 4-5 minutes with data of 3.5 GB of video capacity and 1 hour of video length. (My PC is core i3)
At first the bar is uneasy, but after waiting for about 2 minutes, the bar is filled like below.
I think that the cause is that the data is large or the PC spec is low.
