Update to the worse

The GPS operation screen has changed a little with the previous update.

GPS(=ナビ) and compass were reversed before the update.
When you ride a car for everyday use, you don’t use navigation.
There are few opportunities to use navigation.

In Japan, this monitor is located on the left side of the driver’s seat because it is a right-hand drive.
Personally, I often see traffic information in the vicinity to check traffic jams.
When I finish watching, return the screen to the original position (the operation equivalent to the current location button in normal navigation).
At that time, before the update, the compass icon was close to the driver’s seat, but after the update I had to reach my left hand.
This operation is troublesome.

Is the person who decided this the person who sets the navigation every time?
Or is the compass closer if you use the left-hand drive in the same setting as a left-hand drive vehicle such as the US?
Perhaps the left-hand drive car is reversed.
So maybe there should be a complaint in USA that they have to extend your right hand.
