Basically, you can print using only the accessories of the purchased 3D printer.
This page introduces useful items from my experience.
Hot Bed Platform Sticker
This is a must buy.
After printing, although the printed matter is peeled off from the stage, it is very difficult to peel off with the attached metal plate or glass plate, and furthermore, it is difficult for the resin to be fixed in printing.
A common practice is to apply masking tape or glue on the stage.
However, it is troublesome and it shifts to a printed matter.
The platform seats I recommend are two below.
As it is better to use different stages for different materials, it is better to have two types of stages.
Depending on the time of sale or sales company, a glass plate for fixing the printed matter may be included, but if you do not have it, you will purchase it yourself.
When I purchased a 3D printer, a 5mm thick lath board was attached.
Placing the platform sheet on 5 mm thick glass makes it difficult to adjust the nozzle and stage for the CR-10S.
Therefore, I purchased the glass plate in the photo above.
I made this a dedicated ABS material. And I purchased a glass plate again.
As an additional part, the CR-10S is 310mm in size, so I ordered and purchased 310mmX310mmX2mm size from a company selling made-to-order glass plates.
It was around 1700 yen. I attached a flexible sheet of magnet here.
The structure of each is as shown below.
Since I do not print much ABS material, I use the flexible sheet of the magnet in the main. I will write in the future, but I personally think that ABS material is unnecessary unless there is a good reason because PETG material will eliminate the defects of PLA.
By the way, the glass plate and the stage of 3D printer body are fixed by the clip. This fixing is best because it is easy to take out.
I made a video that shows the goodness of the platform sheet.
Thermal insulation enclosure
The 3D printer of the FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) format is made by melting the resin with heat and modeling it in the same way as a single stroke, so after the resin comes out, it naturally falls below the melted temperature.
At that time, the difference in thermal expansion causes warping and peeling from the stage.
The stage is heated so that it does not happen, but the place where the 3D printer is installed in winter or so is cold, and if it is the stage temperature for the ABS material, the difference with the installation place temperature will come out.
Therefore, if we keep warm even around 3D printer, the probability of printing failure will be much lower.
Personally, I think this thermal enclosure is a required item.
Based on that, higher priced 3D printers are sold with an enclosure.
It may be simple, so it is better to make an enclosure.
I made an enclosure by myself like this.
Thermal insulation sheet and support for gardening.
TF Male To Micro SD Female Card Reader Extension Adapter Cable
It is difficult to insert micro SD card into 3D printer. Furthermore, the probability of breaking physically increases if you remove and insert again and again.
A little convenient
From here onwards I think it is unnecessary because it is a personal environmental issue, but for the time being it is only for reference.
As shown in the photo above, as it is troublesome to turn the hand to the power switch on the back of the control unit as the installation environment, the power ON / OFF was installed on the socket side.
Usually it is not necessary at all. I used an LED light to shoot for blogs.
